June 12-13: The Oratorio Society of Estes Park is marking the 100th birthday of Rocky Mountain National Park in the biggest way a chorus can, by commissioning two works, which it will perform next weekend. The concert includes Robert Charles Howard’s new composition “Wilderness Reflections,” inspired by the poetry of Wendell Berry. The second piece, an orchestral composition by Estes Park composer Jerry Brubaker, is called “Rocky Mountain Majesty.” The “Spring” section from Haydn’s “The Seasons” will round out the lineup. The show goes on at 7 p.m. June 12 and 2 p.m. June 13, Estes Park High School Auditorium, 1500 Manford Ave., Estes Park. Free. .
