A 52-year-old Wheat Ridge resident was putting lawn equipment into his shed Thursday evening when he said an acquaintance approached him, fired a number of shots at him from a handgun and then fled, officials said.
The victim was not injured during the incident, according to a Wheat Ridge police news release.
The Wheat Ridge Police Department is looking for information regarding the suspect, Christopher O. Martin, the release said.
Martin, who has not been located, is described as 52-years-old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, about 160 pounds with shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes.
“Martin is considered armed and dangerous and public caution is advised,” the release said.
