The Women’s World Cup may be one of soccer’s — and perhaps sports’ — best-kept secrets. This once-every-four-years international soccer tournament rarely draws the same attention as its male counterpart but it’s certainly not lacking in the kind of drama every sports fan loves.

The U.S. women play their first game of the tournament tonight and expectations are high. The women have played in every tournament since the World Cup started in 1991 and have two previous championships, but are now looking for their first title since 1999.

Many expect the U.S. women to go far this year and the best way to watch all the action is with a roomful of other soccer fans and a cold pint of beer. Here’s the schedule for the U.S. games and some places to watch the Women’s World Cup in Denver.

Schedule

The U.S. women open the tournament with three group stage games this week and next. Following two weeks of knock-out rounds, the final, which many expect the U.S. women to be in, will take place on Sunday, July 5 at 4 p.m.

USA vs. Australia: Monday, June 8 at 5:30 p.m.

USA vs. Sweden: Friday, June 13 at 7 p.m.

USA vs. Nigeria: Tuesday, June 16 at 5 p.m.
