COLORADO SPRINGS — Investigators suspect foul play in the disappearance of a 53-year-old woman after her vehicle was found earlier this month, an El Paso County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman said Thursday.
Lori Lee Layman, who was last seen April 22, was reportedly living out of a 2002 Gold Kia Spectra. Tips from the public led investigators to the discovery of Lee’s vehicle, the sheriff’s office said.
“Due to the condition of the vehicle, there are grave concerns for the safety of Ms. Layman,” the sheriff’s office said.
