Undrafted, the thoroughbred horse owned by former Broncos receiver Wes Welker, the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot in England on Saturday. The 5-year-old horse, named after Welker’s NFL draft status in 2004, gave American trainer Wesley Ward his first Group One win in England, a victory worth $473,000, .

If only Welker had actually been there to bask in the glory.
