Session Kitchen will close next Sunday, July 12, despite the many rave reviews it received since opening in late 2013 on Old South Pearl Street.
“We’re going to miss our neighbors and our customers so much,” said Emily Hutto, content manager for Breckenridge-Wynkoop restaurant group, which included Session Kitchen.
“Session is such a destination spot, for its cock tail program and as a weekend spot, but it was sometimes forgotten for Monday night meals, for example.”
Its weekday sales were too low to sustain business, she said.
Breckenridge-Wynkoop will provide the staff of Session with opportunities at its other restaurant concepts.
