A 25-year-old man died from his injuries on Thursday, officials said.
Harry McCabe was taken to Denver Health Medical Center on Wednesday after a shooting on South Tejon Street and West Asbury Avenue. He was later pronounced dead, according to an Office of the Medical Examiner news release.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner responded to his death at 1:24 a.m. on Thursday, the release said.
An autopsy determined that he died from a gunshot wound to the torso.
Denver police spokesman said on Thursday that the shooting did not appear to be gang-related, adding that it was still under investigation.
