Denver police have identified a man Friday and are asking for help in identifying those responsible.
William Romo-Rodriguez, 41, was fatally injured in the 3:45 a.m. confrontation in front of El Mecanico in the 3100 block of West Alameda Avenue.
Police said Romo-Rodriguez was ejected from his vehicle while trying to stop a suspect from stealing it.
“He was associated with the business,” police spokesman Sonny Jackson said of Romo-Rodriguez.
