The Denver Clerk and Recorder’s Office says the city set a record with 848 marriage licenses issued last month.
“Proud to be a part of so many strong, loving families!” Debra Johnson, the clerk and recorder, said in a Tweet.
The previous record for licenses issued in a month was set in July 2014 when the office issued 833, .
