Tuesday-July 19: The Colorado Music Festival is surely having fun this year, offering up programs that go deep, but with a lively spirit. Its “Cellobration,” kicking off Tuesday, is a prime example. Over six days, the CMF will explore the cello in solos and duos and as a featured instrument in front of an orchestra. Highlights include Tuesday’s presentation of all six Bach suites for solo cello, featuring Bjorn Ranheim and Guy Fishman (with a dinner break) and the big finish on July 19 that will have Julie Albers before the Festival Chamber Orchestra playing Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 2. There’s plenty in between. Concerts are split between the First Congregational Church, 1128 Pine St., Boulder, and Chautauqua Auditorium, 900 Baseline Road, Boulder. $12-$54.303-440-7666 or .
