2 Business vs. business. The owners of Amira Grill, 103 N. Ruby Drive, Golden, called police June 21 to report loud banging on a wall they share with another business. Police contacted the owners of the neighboring business, who said they bang on the wall because they are upset with the noise and smells from the restaurant. Police advised them that such actions could be charged as harassment.
3 Suspicious activity of the past. A resident of the 30000 block of Troutdale Scenic Drive, Evergreen, reported June 25 that at the beginning of April, he heard a noise on the roof of his house and later found damage to a small second-floor window. He also claimed that a $5 bill in a lock box in his home, some keys on his key ring and a hypodermic needle found outside his house were not his, but other bills and needles seen throughout the house were. Police took the needle and keys as found property.
4 Car window shattered on interstate. A man reported that his driver-side window shattered June 21 while he was driving in the area of Evergreen Parkway and eastbound Interstate 70. Deputies searched the north side of the interstate but found no suspicious activity, nor any other physical evidence.
