Re: “No precedent for taking Cosby medal away, Obama says,” July 16 news story.

President Obama conveniently asserts there is “no precedent’ and “no mechanism” to revoke Bill Cosby’s Presidential Medal of Freedom despite the overwhelming likelihood that he utilized drugs to medicate women into sexual abuse. Yet the president found no obstacles to suspending the law for drug enforcement, suspending the law for immigration enforcement, suspending the law for Obamacare enforcement, looking the other way for mortgage fraud enforcement against Wall Street, and manipulating the law for prison terms.

Cosby’s award was given in the name of the American people. For better or for worse, Obama is that voice. Where there is an Obama will, there is an Obama way. He simply doesn’t choose to get involved in the Cosby mess. Saying he can’t do it is being disingenuous.
