
1 Pond shooters found. Police responding to reports of three men shooting a gun into a pond July 10 at Youth With a Mission campus at 12750 W. 63rd Ave., Arvada, chased one of the suspects through a nearby neighborhood. He denied firing a weapon and was served two summons, and his friend was found with an airsoft gun.
2 Man earns restraining order violations. A man sitting with a woman behind Triangle Liquors, 9545 W. 58th Ave., Arvada, on July 9 got up and walked away as his name was being run through dispatch. Police found he had two restraining orders barring him from contact with his female friend. He was issued a warrant on three charges.
3 Infidelity fight. A man sitting in a car July 11 with his girlfriend in the 6400 block of Newcombe Court in Arvada passed out. He became enraged when he woke up and she accused him of cheating based on text messages. He was arrested after trapping her in the vehicle and punching and biting her.
4 Landlord tenant brawl. A man picked up his elderly landlord and threw him on a couch, then tried to smother him with a pillow following a minor dispute July 11 in the 6100 block of Gray Court, Arvada. The suspect was arrested on felony charges.
5 Smoking and driving. A man driving east on 52nd Avenue near Wadsworth Boulevard in Arvada on July 11 took a hit of marijuana and blew smoke out the window the moment a police officer was passing by. He was issued a summons for possession of paraphernalia and consuming marijuana in public.
