Thursday One of the best things about the Aspen Music Festival is that it has kept classical guitar — a genre often overlooked by other ensembles — alive for Colorado audiences. Sharon Isbin has been the face of that, teaching and performing annually for 25 years. The fest celebrates her silvery anniversary with one of the biggest nights of its 2015 season, a concert centered on the new recording “Sharon Isbin & Friends.” Isbin’s friends are big-names, too: American jazz legend Stanley Jordan and Brazilian jazz star Romero Lubambo. It’s a major guitar event. 8 p.m. Thursday, Harris Concert Hall, Aspen. $65. 970-925-9042 or . Ray Mark Rinaldi
