Fire officials have ruled a fire near Brighton on Tuesday evening was intentionally set.
Brighton Fire Rescue said Thursday an investigation into the blaze has been handed off to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Firefighter were called to the fire near East 160th Avenue and Tucson Street just after 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Flames were under control roughly an hour later, officials said.
Smoke from the fire could be seen for miles.
There were no reports of injuries.
