A Denver SWAT team executed a no-knock raid on a house in the 1200 block of South Mariposa Street Friday but failed to find the sex assault suspect they were seeking.
Spokesman Doug Schepman said police did arrest three other suspects connected to the investigation Friday but didn’t say where the arrests occurred.
He said the sexual assault was reported to police on Friday. Schepman said there may be more than one victim involved.
“The warrant was executed as a no-knock because there may have been weapons here, so they took extra precautions,” he said.
Fully uniformed SWAT officers were seen outside the house Friday afternoon and a woman was briefly held in handcuffs at the scene.
