Two men were arrested in west Denver Sunday afternoon after the pair “resisted” officers during a traffic stop, police said.

One man was described as a “wanted felon,” according to the Denver Police Department Twitter account, and the other man was in “possession of narcotics.”

The incident, near West 1st Avenue and Fox Street, involved an altercation in which three officers suffered “minor” injuries, police said.

One suspect lost a tooth in the incident, police said in a tweet.
