While this case has some difficult implications and considerations, what concerns me most is the legal precedent being set. If our laws and rights truly “evolve” according to changing cultural values and conditions, could this ruling be helping to “evolve” the American understanding of freedom of religion (at least in the public domain) to a state of extinction?
