1 Man drives erratically, punches windshield. On Aug. 8, a man was arrested after he caused damage to his girlfriend’s car near the intersection of Interstate 25 and 17th Street. The man was driving the car when his girlfriend got a call from her ex-husband. He became upset and stopped the car. He then got out and began to punch the windshield, causing it to break.

2 Not old enough. A man was arrested on Aug. 9 after he tried to get a drink for a child and caused a disturbance at the Brown Palace, 321 17th St. The man was recognized as someone who had been ejected before. The suspect became enraged and accused staff of being racist bigots.

3 Woman hit with 2-liter bottle. On Aug. 10, Denver police responded to a physical altercation between two women in the 4000 block of Colorado Boulevard. Police learned that the fight started verbally, but became physical when one of the women hit the other with a 2-liter bottle of cola.

4 Wrong person punched. A man contacted Denver police after he was assaulted at Lodo’s Bar and Grill, 1946 Market St. The victim said he was at the bar when a man approached him about a shoving incident earlier. The victim stated he was not the person who shoved the suspect, yet the suspect punched him in the face.

5 Car2Go tipped. On Aug. 7, a resident called Denver police on Aug. 8 to report that a Car2Go smart car was tipped on its side near the intersection of East Tennessee Avenue and South Race Street. The car seemed to have been tipped on purpose.
