The Denver Police Department arrested a third suspect late Tuesday night in .

The arrest occurred in the 600 block of East 49th Drive.

The suspect’s identification and mug shot are pending, police said.

Police began investigating early Monday after armed robbers hit at least four 7-Eleven stores in the metro area.

Police said the robberies all involved three masked men and took place within about two hours, starting at about 3:10 a.m.

Another 7-Eleven at Washington Street and East 64th Avenue was also robbed, according to Sgt. Aaron Pataluna with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

One suspect remains at large, police said Wednesday morning.
