A Nebraska man has been sentenced to more than two years in prison for assaulting a 64-year-old man in Rocky Mountain National Park last June.
Adam Harvey, 36, approached the victim when he was alone “enjoying the night skies,” in the Upper Beaver Creek Meadows area, according to a National Park Service release.
The victim is not being named.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office prosecuted Harvey following an investigation by National Park Rangers. Harvey, who is in custody, received 26 months in prison followed by three years supervised release.
