Denver police are investigating shootings Sunday evening that sent two wounded people to the hospital.
The victims were in stable, not life-threatening condition, after shootings in the 1300 block of Newton Street and possibly another location, Denver Police spokeswoman Mary McIver said.
Investigators weren’t certain what happened. They haven’t ruled out gang activity, McIver said.
“They’re looking at that angle, but there’s not a confirmation,” she said. “They’re still looking into everything.”
No other information on the victims including the hospital where they received treatment was released.
