A man accused of vandalizing a memorial for fallen officers at Denver police headquarters earlier this year has pleaded guilty.

Robert Guerrero, 25, pleaded guilty Thursday to criminal mischief, according to a Denver District Attorney news release.

Guerrero went to immediate sentencing, the release said, and was given two years of probation along with a $2,500 restitution fee.

A co-defendant in the case, 24-year-old Matthew Goldberg, pleaded not guilty earlier this year but did not appear for his most recent court hearing in July, the release said.

A warrant for Goldberg’s arrest has been issued.

Guerrero and Goldberg are accused of and plastering stickers on the Fallen Officer Memorial in February during a protest.
