Rush hour traffic was jammed in Adams County early Friday after a driver rear-ended , pushing it into a third car, authorities say.

Both directions of Highway 85 were closed for about 1 ½ hours during a traffic investigation, said Trooper Josh Lewis, CSP spokesman.

The accident happened near 104th Avenue at 6:04 a.m., Lewis said.

No one involved in the accident received serious enough injuries to be taken to a hospital for treatment, he said.

The accident is still under investigation.

All lanes of Highway 85 were reopened by about 7:15 a.m., Lewis said.
