A four-year-old girl from Aurora got a special visit from female police officers who showed her that women wear the badge, too.

Last week, an officer got a call from the mother of a young girl named Sarah who said she had never seen a female police officer and asked if they existed, according to the Aurora Police Department’s Facebook page.

Division Chief Vanessa Wilson, Officer Diana Cooley and Officer Misty Harris met with Sarah to show her that policewomen were out and about in her community, police said.
