Through Nov 8. This year’s eighth annual celebration of Jewish culture at the Mizel Arts & Culture Center, otherwise known as JAAMM Fest, again features the art, authors, movies and music from which the event takes its name. But there’s also dance (from Denver’s Wonderbound and Jerusalem’s Vertigo), a trio of historical lectures and even some theater, including the musical comedy “My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding,” which runs at the Soiled Dove in Lowry. And there are edgier events at “JAAMM After Dark,” such as the poetry slams at Mercury Cafe and a post-rock/experimental show from New York’s Yoshie Fruchter at the Hi-Dive on Oct. 11. Programming kicked off this week and continues through Nov. 8 at various locations, most at 350 S. Dahlia St. Various prices. Details: 303-316-6360 or .
