DENVER (AP) — Some fire restrictions are being lifted along the Front Range now that October has brought cooler, more fall-like weather.
A fire ban for western Boulder County was lifted Monday and Jefferson County plans to lift its ban on Tuesday.
The bans were imposed there and in other nearby counties because of warm and dry conditions during much of September.
