Interview with Sheena Ferguson, owner
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: My family owned a restaurant growing up in Kentucky, so I always loved the industry. I also have years of restaurant experience doing every position imaginable, all the way up to running restaurants and consulting for new concepts. I’ve wanted to bring my concept to life for a few years now.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: We are different because we are a full coffee shop in the day, and then we transform into a warm cozy lounge at night. You can also enjoy all of our coffee drinks at night and our cocktails during the day. We also have great gourmet pizza.
Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: I get to meet a lot of people and become more involved in the community.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: Showing people that we are just not another bar. We are a great place for families, friends and business meetings.
Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: I am from Kentucky originally, and I brought everything I love about Kentucky — Southern hospitality and bourbon — to Arvada.
