Forecasters are expecting sunny skies on Monday in Denver as a week of dry and warm weather begins.
The National Weather Service in Boulder is calling for a high near 75 degrees in the city with light winds in the afternoon.
“Dry and warm weather will remain through Thursday,” the weather service said in a forecast bulletin. “A weather system then brings a chance for showers and a few thunderstorms to western Colorado and the high country Friday and through the weekend.”
Temperatures in Denver are expected to top out near 80 degrees on Tuesday and near 79 degrees on Wednesday.
