
1 Woman refuses to leave motel. On Oct. 9, a woman was arrested by Denver police after she was told to leave a Motel 6, 3050 W. 49th Ave., but refused. The suspect had been told to leave previously, but she returned. She grabbed a person’s wrist and threw a trash can at a window, damaging both the window and trash can.
2 Known assailants injure victim. A man called Denver police on Oct. 10 after he was assaulted by three men while walking home near the intersection of 24th and Champa streets. The victim said he sees the suspects every day and they often harass him and tell him to leave the area. This is the first time they assaulted him.
3 Detox patient combative. On Oct. 12, Denver police responded to the Denver Cares detox facility, 1155 Cherokee St., on a report of a person being combative with staff. The suspect was brought to the facility and allegedly spit in a staff member’s face. The suspect was taken into a quiet room to wait for police.
4 Suspect causes disturbance. Two victims called Denver police on Oct. 7 after a suspect approached them in a belligerent manner near the intersection of Alameda Avenue and South Broadway. The suspect cursed and yelled at them as they asked him to back away. Police noticed he was intoxicated.
5 Suspect escapes into Club Beta. On Oct. 10, a man called Denver police after he was assaulted by two suspects who hit him multiple times in the head and face. The suspects then ran into Club Beta, 1909 Blake St.
