A driver who slammed a mini-van through a Kmart wall in Arvada was allegedly intoxicated, according to an arrest warrant issued for his arrest.
A warrant was issued Thursday for Edward Wade Walton, 41, on two counts of vehicular assault DUI and two counts of vehicular assault reckless driving, and one count of DUI.
Walton was taken to a local hospital Wednesday where he remains. When Walton is released from the hospital he will be arrested.
The at a store near West 58th Avenue and Kipling Street.
The van came to a stop about 75-feet inside the store. Two employees injured in the incident were also taken to a hospital. One suffered serious injuries.
