A mother accused of abducting her son in violation of a protection order has been charged with kidnapping.
Tiffany Rasnic, 31, is also charged with violation of custody and violation of a protection order, according to the Adams County District Attorney’s Office.
She appeared Friday in an Adams County court for the filing of charges. A disposition hearing in the case is scheduled for Dec. 9.
Rasnic her 10-year-old son Monday in Westminster, pulling the boy out of a vehicle as he was being driven home from school.
An Amber Alert was issued after the incident. Later that night the boy was found safe and Rasnic was arrested.
