ASPEN — A 26-year-old Aspen man was pulled over by police twice in about a three-hour span between late Friday night and early Saturday and charged both times with driving under the influence.
Marvin Luna-Lovo was first arrested about 11:15 p.m. Friday on suspicion of driving erratically when he admitted smoking marijuana and drinking “a shot,” police said.
Luna-Lovo was taken to jail and later released him to a sober friend.
Less than an hour after his release, officers again stopped Luna-Lovo after police say they found him “disoriented.”
He failed roadside sobriety tests and was taken back to jail.
