Coloradans have been name to football’s national teams to face international; competition.
Evan Durbin of Littleton and Matt Greenwald of Boulder have been selected to the U.S. Under-16 team that will face Canada in the International Bowl Series to be played in Feb. at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas.
Durbin is an offensive lineman, Greenwald a defensive back and Blaise a quarterback.
Also, Chaparral’s Taden Blaise will play for the Under-17 team as will Cherokee Trail’s Ruben Estrada. Blaise is a quarterback and Estrada an offensive lineman. They,too, will face a team from Canada.
Seven different levels will compete in the International series.

Sunday, Jan. 31
• U.S. Under-19 National Team vs. Canada Under-19 National Team, 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 3
• U.S. Under-14 Select Teams: Stars vs. Stripes, noon.
• U.S. Under-15 Select Teams: Stars vs. Stripes, 3 p.m.
• U.S. Under-18 National Team vs. Canada Under-18 National Team, 6 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 5
• U.S. Under-16 National Team vs. Alberta Under-16, noon
• U.S. Under-18 Select Team vs. Ontario Under-18, 3 p.m.
• U.S. Under-17 National Team vs. Ontario Under-17, 6 p.m.
