A former Colorado Springs detective, assigned to the homicide unit, pleaded guilty Monday to the felony charge of attempting to influence a public servant, prosecutors say.
Paul Patton, 39, also admitted to official misconduct following his on suspicion of having sex with a victim in an ongoing kidnapping case.
