Just had a Twitter exchange with Pine Creek’s JoJo Domann … he’s on pain meds and awaiting surgery.
On Saturday against Loveland, Domann suffered a shoulder injury. He indicated he has an anterior shoulder dislocation/labral tear on his left side. Surgery is a probability next week.
The Eagles went down to Loveland by 26-14 in the Class 4A semifinals. They had won two consecutive state titles as well as 37 games in succession.
The two-way back, 6-foot-1, 212 pounds, had more than 1,100 yards of offense in running for touchdowns, receiving for touchdowns, returning for touchdowns and passing for touchdowns.
He has committed to Nebraska.
