Students at Sierra Middle School are being dismissed early due to a water pump failure, officials said.
Students will be let out at noon because of a water outage for the school caused by the pump failure, according to a Douglas County School District.
Students who ride the bus will be taken to their normal bus stop, the release said.
Those who walk home will be allowed to leave at noon.
Parents are allowed to pick up their students at this time, as well.
“Staff will remain at the school until all students are picked up,” the release said.
Lunch is available for all students who may need it.
Any activities scheduled for the day and night are canceled, the release said.
