Blackhawks superstar Patrick Kane takes a 26-game points streak into Tuesday’s game against the Avalanche at the United Center. Here’s Kane from the morning skate (he did not speak to reporters in the room):

CHICAGO — Eighteen road games in a 25-game stretch is a tough road, but it ends Tuesday night against the Blackhawks and the Avalanche is assured of coming up even or better. Colorado is 9-8 outside Denver since Oct. 27, and 10-9 overall.

Our leads with Patrick Kane, and the spotlight is on Chicago goalie Corey Crawford.

Morning and subtle Avalanche lineup changes.

Avalanche lineup:

Landeskog-MacKinnon-Duchene

Martinsen-Soderberg-Comeau

Tanguay-Mitchell-Iginla

McLeod-Grigorenko-Skille

Beauchemin-Johnson

Holden-Barrie

Guenin-Redmond

Varlamov

Berra

Matt Duchene took 6 stitches to mouth from Kevin Shattenkirk cross check at STL. No penalty. But he did get an apologetic text
