NGame is no more. FullContact acquired the Texas firm, as of Dec. 17, 2015.

Denver tech startup it acquired Dallas-area startup nGame, which has a close link to the Denver area.

FullContact, which to clean up and update a user’s contacts, said that it plans to use nGame to add extra insight to contact management service.

NGame, which is not to be confused with the , offers an “always-on learning engine” that constantly takes online social data and figures out what to do with it. In this case, it will offer FullContact more sources to make sure FullContact’s own contact management service is accurate.

But in this small world of technology, the two companies are more than acquisition related. Irving, Tex.-based nGame was co-founded by CEO Jon Feld, the cousin of Boulder-based investor Brad Feld. Brad Feld is also on FullContact’s board.

FullContact also graduated from the , an accelerator co-founded by Brad Feld. Meanwhile, Jon Feld helped launch a Techstars-inspired business accelerator in in 2009.

On Thursday, FullContact took full control of nGame’s operations, and other information about the company. Also gone is the name nGame. The company’s 10 employees joined FullContact, which now employs 80 people in Denver, Dallas and Latvia.

The company said it has been in talks for four months to buy nGame. It declined to share how much it paid for the Texas company. But two years ago, some nGame executives, including Jon Feld and co-founder Rick Porter, filed regulatory papers related to .

“This is big news for FullContact as it is their second acquisition in two years and propels their vision of solving the world’s contact management problems forward — especially for larger brands looking to gain a competitive edge by knowing/understanding their customers better,” Amanda Windsor, a FullContact spokesperson said in an e-mail on Wednesday, the day before the announcement.
