
1 Testy tenant trespasses. A former resident of the Pinnacle at Mountain Gates apartments, 7501 S. Utica Drive, Littleton, was cited for trespassing at the property on Dec. 2 after management said he was evicted but refused to move his belongings. Police had been called out earlier to speed him along, but he did not listen. His U-Haul was blocking five parking spots and his belongings were all over the parking lot when police returned. He was escorted off the property and his items left with management.
2 Sgt. Jacks is up to no good. A woman living in the 100 block of West Powers Circle, Littleton, received a call Nov. 30 from a “Sgt. Jacks” with the sheriff’s office. He said she had a warrant for failing to respond to a grand jury summons. He instructed her to buy a Green Dot gift card to pay the $500 warrant or face arrest. She paid, but became suspicious. Police called “Sgt. Jacks” back but he hung up. It was a scam.
3 Teacher’s Christmas grinched. A teacher at Powell Middle School, 800 S. Corona Way, Littleton, on Dec. 2 reported to the school resource officer that more than $370 in Christmas gifts delivered by UPS had been stolen from the front porch of her home the day before.
4 Woman hits boyfriend, father. A man living in the 8200 block of South Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, on Dec. 2 said his drunk girlfriend attacked him. She struck him several times in the face, knocked him to kitchen floor and kept hitting him. Her father tried to intervene but she shoved him away, causing him to hit his head on the wall. She was arrested.
