
1 Suspect asks for “my wallet.” On Dec. 30, a man notified Denver police that he was robbed by two men near the intersection of Broadway and Colfax Avenue. The victim said the two suspects approached and one said “give me my wallet.” After the victim stated he did not have the man’s wallet, he was thrown to the ground and the suspects took his wallet.
2 Suspect vomits. Police responded to an altercation Jan. 1 in the 1900 block of Blake Street, where a man said he was hit in the back of the head by a suspect. The victim pointed out the suspect in a nearby garage. The intoxicated suspect said he was involved in a fight and vomited several times in the police car.
3 Pizza delivery man robbed. On Dec. 31, a pizza delivery driver was hit with a crowbar and robbed while delivering pizza in the 1300 block of Lowell Boulevard. The victim said he was returning to his car when two men opened his car door, hit him in the stomach and took his wallet, cellphone and cash before leaving.
4 Trespasser claims to be owner. Police responded to a trespasser causing a disturbance Jan. 2 in the 1800 block of Curtis Street. The suspect told police that he owned the building, but staff onsite refuted that claim and said he had been told to leave. The suspect then resisted arrest.
5 Nose broken at bus stop. On Jan. 3, a man had his nose broken after an altercation at a bus stop at the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Downing Street. The victim said he and the suspect began to argue after the victim was asked for money. The suspect then punched him in the face.
