A driver backed a sport-utility vehicle into a brick home Sunday night in Wheat Ridge, causing damage to the residence, police said.

Investigators suspect the driver was under the influence of alcohol, according to a Wheat Ridge Police Department Twitter post.

The incident happened about 6:05 p.m. in the 3200 block of Harlan Street, police said.

There was no report of injuries. The driver was not identified.
