
1 Suspicious folks at Columbine High.On Jan. 23, a man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies after he noticed a suspicious vehicle at Columbine High School, 6201 S. Pierce St., Columbine (Littleton). The caller contacted the driver, who said his friends wanted to see Columbine. The caller told the men they could not be there and asked them to delete photos they had taken. They complied.
2 Woman reports burglar. A woman called deputies on Jan. 19 to report that a man had tried to enter her house in the 4000 block of South Youngfield Street in the Littleton area. The woman said she noticed her dog barking and heard the man jiggle the door handle to try to gain entry.
3 Unwanted party asked to leave. On Jan. 21, a woman called deputies to report a man she wanted off some property in the 10000 block of West Tanforan Place in the Littleton area. The deputy met with the woman and the homeowner, who said the man had sneaked in through a garage dog door. The man was homeless and worked for the owner’s husband.
4 Window broken, landlord suspected. A woman called deputies on Jan. 21 after one of her windows was broken at her home in the 8000 block of South Upham Way, Columbine (Littleton). The woman suspected her landlord as they had been involved in a dispute.
5 Disturbance at King Soopers. On Jan. 23, deputies responded to King Soopers, 9820 W. Belleview Ave., in the Littleton area, on a report of a customer causing a disturbance and threatening people. Deputies found the man and told him not to return.
