
1 Unwelcome guest. Police cited a man Jan. 21 after he pulled down his pants, fell on his back and urinated on himself then a tree in the 6400 block of West 82nd Drive, Arvada. Officers were initially called to the home for a suspicious person loitering in the yard.
2 Laundromat drug binge. A man passed out in his car Jan. 21 covered in drug paraphernalia at 6400 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada, told police he took a break from washing clothes in a nearby Laundromat to smoke heroin in his car. He was arrested on possession and DUI charges.
3 Mother disrespected. Police arrested a man Jan. 23 in the 6800 block of Garland St., Arvada, after admitting to hitting his mom and breaking a railing and table in her home.
4 Construction site scuffle. A worker on a job site in the 17600 block of West 87th Ave. in Arvada jumped out of a front-end loader and pummeled a co-worker Jan. 25 who had accidentally run over a marking stake. Witnesses told police there had been ongoing tensions between the two.
5 Eluding fails. Police tracked down and arrested the owner of a vehicle that sped off during a traffic stop near the 6400 block of Wadsworth Boulevard in Arvada on Jan. 22.
6 Hit and run. Police arrested a man for DUI Jan. 25 in the 11500 block of West 61st Place, Arvada, after witnesses said he smashed into a parked car before pulling into the driveway of his girlfriend’s house.
