1 7-Eleven spree. A woman dropped her credit card after buying coffee and gasoline at the 7-Eleven at 7451 S. Gartrell Road on Jan. 22. She checked her bank account later and saw that someone spent an additional $400 on items from the gas station. There are no suspects.

2 Room for the cat. While awaiting an appraisal of his home in the 10600 block of East Duke Drive, a man had to put his cat in the car and take off for a few hours Jan. 22. To make room for the cat, the man removed a backpack full of electronics and set it in his garage. It was gone when he got back.

3 Unsupervised tablet. A student left his Samsung tablet charging in the lobby of the youth resource Opportunity Center at 1445 Dayton St. while he went to the doctor Jan. 21. When he came back, the tablet was gone.

4 No proof. A clerk at the 7-Eleven at 10502 E. Colfax Ave. called police Jan. 29 because he thought a man stole some merchandise. The suspect was acting suspiciously and pushed passed the clerk when he tried to question him, but security cameras didn’t catch any crimes.

5 Stolen cell phone. A Smoky Hill High School student went to his school resource officer Jan. 28 because he said someone stole his cell phone out of his locker while he was at wrestling practice in the school at 16100 E. Smoky Hill Road.

6 Damaged door. Police responded to the 700 block of North Kittredge Street because a woman said someone tried to break into her house Jan. 29. There were pry marks all around the front door and a piece of the molding was broken off.
