The Arvada Police Department is searching for witnesses to an attempted carjacking.
The incident happened between 6:25 a.m. and 6:40 a.m. Friday morning on the southbound on-ramp at Wadsworth Boulevard and Interstate 70, according to an Arvada police news release.
Police have identified a person of interest and said there is no threat to the public.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call an Arvada police detective at 720-898-6728.
