A 34-year-old man was convicted Tuesday of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison in Lakewood.
Scott Michael Lynn was linked to the fatal June 2014 shooting of Randy Bender.
Jefferson County prosecutors say Lynn’s sentence was handed down immediately after his conviction.
Police found Bender at the Crossland Economy Studios on the 700 block of Kipling Street.
Court records show Lynn was convicted after a trial that lasted about a week.
