COLORADO SPRINGS — Two juveniles missing since Saturday have been found, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Brothers Macquire Adler-Gergel, 11, and Matthew Adler-Gergel, 17, were found after 10 a.m. Monday. Their location or condition have not been released, but medical units were called to assist, Jackie Kirby, Sheriff’s office spokeswoman said.
The two were missing since 1 p.m. Saturday, when they reportedly set off to go off-roading, Colorado Springs police said in a news release earlier Monday.
The two regularly enjoyed off-roading or “mudding” in Matthew’s 2000 red Jeep Wrangler and frequently went to the mountains in El Paso, Teller and Park counties to enjoy the sport, police said. They may have returned to one of those areas, police said.
Foul play was not suspected, police said.
