Interview with Lillie Mayo Brown, owner
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: It was always a dream of mine to give back and to help others get started in life.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: It’s always a blessing to serve others — making people feel good about themselves and to turn someone around to the mirror and see that smile on his or her face.
Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: It’s great getting to know people and having a chance to show people you care.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: God has been blessing my business so much that we are growing out of it. I don’t know yet if there will be a Miss Lillie’s 2.
Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: We are there for people. Sometimes people don’t have the money and we say, “come on in.”
