Denver’s coroner has identified an 18-year-old man late Wednesday in the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood.

Tarell Burton died at Denver Health Medical center of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the city’s medical examiner’s office.

Burton was shot near the intersection of Bruce Randolph Avenue and Cherry Street — just south of the Park Hill Golf Club — about 8 p.m., police say. He was rushed to Denver Health in an ambulance.

the incident was a double shooting and that the other victim a woman. People in the area told investigators they heard multiple shots fired.

Further details on injuries of the second shooting victim have not been released and police have not said if they have identified any suspects in the case.
